Kaleidoscope Child Foundation is deeply honored to support Briton Primary School, led by the extraordinary educator Wilkister Orenge, in the heart of the Mukuru Kwa Njenga slum near Nairobi, Kenya. Serving over 200 children ages two to thirteen, the school operates in incredibly humble conditions-three tin-roofed buildings with dirt floors, makeshift classroom dividers, and hand-built wooden desks shared by multiple students. Despite these challenges, the school remains a vital beacon of hope and possibility in a community where poverty, hunger, and lack of access to basic hygiene and education are daily realities.

Kaleidoscope’s Journey
Thanks to the generosity of a recurring $5,000 annual grant from 2022 to 2024, Kaleidoscope has been able to provide critical support that directly improves both access to and the quality of education. These funds have enabled the construction of functional toilet systems, structural reinforcements to the school buildings, and the provision of essential classroom supplies. In a particularly meaningful development, the grant has also funded nursery placements for younger siblings, allowing school-age children to attend class without needing to stay home as caregivers.
Through this partnership, Kaleidoscope affirms its mission to remove barriers to education while restoring dignity, safety, and opportunity to some of the world's most vulnerable communities.
